2024 Facilities Project Proposed Scope

High School Secure Entry & Boilers

Details: Replace MS/HS boilers Reconstruct the boiler room Relocate the main office to front of the high school building Add a double-door security entry Relocate the HS conference room and nurse’s office Upgrade electrical and HVAC in the renovated area

Sheveron Parking Lot

Details: Create a new and safer traffic pattern Repave the Sheveron parking lot and driveways

Transportation Facility

Details: Remove, replace, and relocate fuel storage tanks Increase the volume of the gasoline storage tank Fill in and repave the area of existing tanks Install a new fuel station and relocate (repurpose newer pump) to the transportation lot

Agriculture Classroom and Greenhouse

Details: Remove existing agriculture greenhouse and replace with a new greenhouse Renovate the attached agriculture classroom space Replace exterior doors and increase security of agriculture wing

Auditorium

Details: Replace stage riggings, ceiling, floor, and seating Replace and weatherproof doors Repair walls Upgrade HVAC and electrical Repair and repaint stage Upgrade sound and lighting systems

High School ELA Wing

Details: Asbestos abatement in the hallway and classrooms Replace all flooring and ceilings Upgrade electrical and HVAC (with air conditioning) in renovated area Replace classroom furniture and increase storage Renovate the student support suite (guidance area)

Infrastructure, Exterior & Energy

Roofs: Fully replace the roofs on the HS 1996 math/science wing and the MS technology wing Complete additional roof repairs in other areas as identified through roof scans Exterior: Repair and weatherproof MS exterior gym entrance Install security lighting around the perimeter of the MS/HS Electrical: Replace the outdoor switchgear and two transformers Replace the Federal Pacific electric panels HVAC Replace heat recovery ventilators where needed Replace 1990's HVAC controllers Install air conditioning in 10-12 classrooms as a first step in a phased-in plan to increase air conditioning district-wide Food Service: Replace high school kitchen equipment Install a new serving line Upgrade electrical and HVAC Renovate high school kitchen floors and ceiling Buildings & Grounds: Improve Oliver Park drainage Replace and add safer Oliver Park fencing Replace deteriorating dugouts
