 ASVAB Career Exploration Program

The ASVAB test covers eight areas including science, word knowledge, mathematics, and mechanical comprehension. It assesses a student's ability to learn new skills and is a predictor of success in training and education programs. It is an optional test that is offered to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

This test is administered by civilian Education Services Specialists who have no recruiting function. However, students who are planning on a military career must take the ASVAB in order to enter the armed forces. This is not a military test.
